LIFE BETWEEN BUILDS

The light went off. But the deadline didn't.

1 min read

Imagine you're finally in the mood to work.

Laptop charged? Laptop na first Desktop 😁.

Internet working? Somehow.

Deadline? Very real.

Then SOCADEL decides your productivity has reached its limit. πŸ˜‚

Now you're looking for the nearest place with light, asking a friend if you can come and work, checking your battery percentage every five minutes, and trying to finish the task before anything else happens.

It's funny until you're the one with a deadline.

But situations like this teach you something: a good plan isn't just about how things should work when everything goes right. It's also about what you'll do when they don't.

I've come to appreciate that idea in product design, too.

If an app assumes everyone has stable internet, unlimited data, and a new phone, it might work beautifully in a demo and still frustrate the very people it's meant to serve.

Good solutions consider real life, not just ideal conditions.

Because sometimes, the best design decision starts with asking, "What happens when the light goes off?"

What's your personal strategy when light and deadlines decide to fight?
